Hang-Around
When you first join the Club, you will be classified as a Hang-Around, and will receive an 81 Red & White Support Patch. You will be shown the basics of how the club is run, meet the main members and get a taste at being in an MC. Your long-term goal should be to eventually become a Full-Patch Member. After 2 weeks (14 days) of actively participating with HAMC AUSTRALIA as a Hang-Around, it will be up to the discretion of the Club Hierarchy to discuss if you are ready to become a Prospect.
CLUB RANKS
Prospect
At this point you have shown an active interest in becoming a Patched Member. You're Prospecting for a Full-Patch Membership, and you'll have to earn it.
Once you start Prospecting, you will receive the Prospect Patch, which is a simple Bottom Rocker only Patch that says AUSTRALIA (where our Chapter is based). Once you are a Prospect, you will be required to complete a series of Tasks for the club to prove your loyalty, commitment & respect to the Club which show your worthiness of becoming a Patched Member. Once you complete all Tasks and are still showing an active interest in the Club and the Hierarchy are still happy with your progress, attitude etc, you will be offered a promotion to a Full-Patch Membership.
More details will be made available to you about Prospecting as necessary.
Patched Member
As a Patched Member, you are now officially classed as a Club Member (aka Patched Member, Patch Holder, Full-Patch, etc). You have shown that you are willing to do anything for the Club, you have done everything asked and possibly more. Patched Members aren't required to do anything more, as they've earned the right to kick back and relax.
Hierarchy
If there is a position available, you may (or may not) be approached for a position to join the Hierarchy / Officer /
Core Ranks (whichever you prefer to call it) and help run the Club in various ways. These can range from Vice-President & Secretary, to Road Captain, SGT at ARMS & Enforcer, just to name a few (there's a total of 9 Hierarchy Positions).
Only Patched Members who have went above and beyond to prove their loyalty and uses for the Club will be considered.
